Imagine a day in a lavish room of Victorian setting! Soothing decors with old paintings, carpets, sparkling chandeliers, Persian carpets, gleaming silverware, etc. The decoration of Indian luxury train Royal Rajasthan on Wheels seems like a Victorian royal room, but in true sense an Indian ambience of royalty. The seven days itinerary of Royal Rajasthan on Wheels starts in Delhi and then it passes through the royal destinations & the erstwhile Hindu kingdoms of Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Sawai Madhopur, Chhitaurgarh, Udaipur, Bharatpur and the Mughal capital Agra.

On the 4th day Royal Rajasthan on Wheels itinerary, the train will arrive in Udaipur city, the most romantic city of Indian state of Rajasthan flanked by lakes.

Breakfast at Sikarbari.

A luxury coach will take you for sightseeing in the Udaipur city. You will visit the Sahalio Ki Bari, City palace and Crystal Gallery.

Lunch at Fateh Prakash.

Then boat ride on the Lake Pichola. Enjoy the romantic boat ride having a view of the majestic palaces located on the bank of the Lake.

Return to the train. It will leave for Jaisalmer

Dinner on Board.


Breakfast will be served on board. Around 9 am the Royal rajasthan on Wheels arrives at Jaisalmer. After breakfast, you will be taken to a sightseeing tour in Jaisalmer.

The first view of the golden city will wonder your eyes. You will see vast stretches of sand dunes. You will visit Gadsisar Lake, Jaisalmer Fort, Havelis and the city.

Lunch at Moomal Hotel.

Then a luxury coach will take you the sand dunes. Enjoy camel ride. Dinner and cultural programmes at Sand dunes.

Return to the train. The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels leaves for Jodhpur, the blue city.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tour Itinerary of Rajasthan

Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, you will be received at the airport and helped to check into your hotel. After you have rested we take a tour of Delhi and see the Qutab Minar, India Gate, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Parliament House. In old Delhi you can see Jama Masjid, Rajghat, the Red Fort including its sound and light show, before you return to your hotel to stay overnight.

Tour to delhiDay - 02 - Delhi to Mukundgarh
In the morning we leave for Mukundgarh by road. Arrive in Mukandgarh and check into your hotel.

Day - 03 - Mukundgarh
In the morning we leave for Mukundgarh, Nawalgarh, and Dundlod, where you can see the best examples of Shekhawati paintings. We tour the Aath Haveli complex, Anandilal Poddar Haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat Haveli and Chokhani Haveli. Leave for Bikaner and check into the hotel where you stay overnight.

Day - 04 - Mukundgarh to Bikaner

Take a tour of Bikaner and see the Junagarh Fort, built in the mid 1500's by Raja Rai Singh. The fort has a 986 metre long wall with 37 bastions and two gates. Also see the Bhand Sagar Temple and the Camel Breeding Farm in Bikaner. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.

Day - 05 - Bikaner to Jaisalmer
Leave for Jaisalmer in the morning. Arrive and check into your hotel. Relax in the afternoon or explore the city's markets. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.

Day - 06 - Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer located at the beginning of the Thar Desert, is a medieval fortress that has withstood the test of time. The majestic Golden Fort at Jaisalmer is an impressive sight. Other attractions of Jaisalmer are the havelis or mansions, with fine carvings, Jain temples, local handicrafts and sand dunes in the desert. We also see the architectural wonders of Lodurva near Jaisalmer and the sunset over the sand dunes. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.

Day - 07 - Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
In the morning we drive to Jodhpur. Arrive in Jodhpur and check into your hotel. Then we take a tour of Jodhpur, founded by the Rathore ruler Rao Jodha in 1459, was the capital of Marwar and is a historic city in Rajasthan India. Tourist attractions in Jodhpur include the Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and the Jaswant Thada or royal cenotaphs. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.

Day - 08 - Jodhpur to Ranakpur
In the morning we visit the Ranakpur temples, a famous pilgrimage site for Jains in Rajasthan and see the beautiful Chaturmukh temple. Check into your hotel and stay overnight in Ranakpur. Tour to Ranakpur

 

Day - 09 - Ranakpur to Udaipur
In the morning we drive to Udaipur. Check in at hotel and enjoy a day at leisure. Stay overnight in Udaipur.

Day - 10 - Udaipur
Today enjoy a city tour of Udaipur, or the city of Lakes in Rajasthan was established by Maharana Udai Singh in the 16th century. The palaces set within the azure waters of Lake Pichola are a beautiful sight. Udaipur is also famous for handicrafts and works of art. See the Saheliyon - Ki - Bari, Jagdish Temple, City Palace and Lake Pichola. Return to your hotel to stay overnight

Day - 11 - Udaipur to Kota
In the morning we drive to Kota and stop at the historic destination of Chittorgarh on the way. See the magnificent forts and palaces of this region. Stay overnight in Kota.

Day - 12 - Kota to Pushkar
In the morning we drive to Pushkar. On the way we visit Bundi and see it monuments. Arrive in Pushkar and check into your hotel tour. The we tour the temple town of Pushkar. See the Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple, Apteshwar Mahadeo Temple. Return to your hotel where you stay overnight.

Day - 13 - Pushkar to Jaipur
Leave for Jaipur in the afternoon. On arrival check into your hotel and relax. In the afternoon we take a tour of Jaipur's markets and monuments. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.

Day - 14 - Jaipur
In the morning enjoy an excursion to Amer Fort, which includes an elephant ride up to the main gate. Also see many beautiful monuments, forts and palaces in Jaipur such as the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and City Palace. You can enjoy sightseeing and shopping for exquisite artwork and handicrafts in Jaipur, a marvelous synthesis of heritage and contemporary trends. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.

Day - 15 - Jaipur to Bharatpur
In the morning we drive to Bharatpur. Visit the Keoladeoghana National Paark also known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. See many rare birds in Bharatpur. Stay overnight at a hotel in Bharatpur.

tour to agra Day - 16 - Bharatpur to Agra

In the morning we leave for Agra. On the way we stop at Fatehpur Sikri - a city with many grand monuments of red sandstone, built by Emperor Akbar. Here you can see the Tomb of Salim Chisti, the Jama Masjid and the Panch Mahal. We then proceed to Agra and see the architectural wonder in white marble - the Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. We also see Agra Fort and other Mughal monuments in Agra. Stay overnight in Agra.

Day - 17 - Agra to Delhi
In the morning we drive back to Delhi. Leave for the airport to board your flight to your next destination at the end of your Rajasthan Itinerary Tour from Jaipur Hub.
